Let's Get Ready To Rumble (The Champion)
Our very first skit that we ever did was based off of the song "The Champion" by Carman. It was very simple. The costumes for it was actually just shirts that we used to make a hood over Jesus (Richard) and Satan (Jeremy). God (Misty) was just in normal clothes except for a bright yellow dress shirt. We made a set of keys to use in it. The keys were made out of pipe cleaner and straws. Also we didn't really throw punches like in a fight. Instead Satan would punch and Jesus would just stop them by either putting out his hand or knocking them away. Very simple, yet very moving. The prisons loved it. God gave us the idea on how to build it up and make it a lot better. We did it again in Nov. 2013. From this point, the name of the play was called "Let's Get Ready To Rumble". We started it off with a Ticket Master (Misty), Security (Jeremy), and Ticket Collector (Richard). Then Misty goes back and changes for her next part. Jeremy walks around making sure everyone is seated and not being any trouble, while Richard changes to be a promoter for the fight. Security makes sure the Promoter gets to the front and into the ring. Also, God told us to build a 16'x16' boxing ring, and guess what, we did. A 16'x16' ring along with our new 20' backdrop. God comes out and later on, so do the two contestants, The Regining World Champion and The "Temple Destroyer"! We also included lights and effects. Also did I mention our 11' lighting trust?
Here We Are
"Here We Are" was our second skit to preform. It is about Satan dressing up as "Christian", and trying to decieve actual Christians. This was the first time we ever made costumes. We bought a sewing machine, fabric, patterens, etc. The costumes are kind of based off the medieval kinghts era. As soon as the Christian Warriors un-mask Satan of his disguise, the war begins. Swords are flying and hitting. It had the message of Spiritual Warfare along with the old message of "A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing". We should be able to notice the fruit that a person bears by the way they act, it's either going to be good or bad. All Satan's fruit is bad. All God's fruit is Good. We only did this once, but we're looking at doing this one again and bring it up to the standard of a theatrical play, like God wants it to be. We're not quite sure what is going to change, or what is going to stay the same. But God knows and we're praying that His will be done.
Break These Chains...Let Me Live Again
The story for this play is very long, but it was also the only one that we spent about 6 months working on. This was our first play. After God gave us the idea for "Here We Are", God gave Jeremy the idea to do a play based off the musical in Pigeon Forge, TN, "The Miracle". Jeremy kept asking Richard about doing it, saying that God said we need to do it. Richard had a hard time with this, always denying that we would or ever even could do it. God spoke again to Jeremy and started giving him the idea on how to do the music. Three months day and night to create the 50 mins of music that is used in the play. God finally got to Richard and showed him a vision of what we were going to preform. What Jeremy had in mind was to do a passion play, which was what "The Miracle" was. God didn't want just a passion play, he wanted more, and a different look at things. This play has not just one great message behind it, but two. The costumes were made by God, we were just blow away by what he had made. The costumes, script, props, backdrops, everything was awesome. But God doesn't want us to stay still, he wants us to keep moving and becoming bigger and better. God didn't want the play to just stay where it was at, he wanted it to be bigger and better. We got an invitation to preform it at our church. We accepted and started to prepare for it. Once again God went through Jeremy to build this play. God told Jeremy that we need to add lights to the show. Jeremy went and told the idea to Richard. Also once again Richard was reluctant, the play was about to be even bigger than it already was. We already had a few lights from when we used to do dances and partys. We had a strobe light, becon light, and a disco ball. When we finished, we had 5 strobe lights, 4 becon lights, fog machine, and 4-16ft rope lights. After we preformed, everyone loved it, and the pastor was in tears because of what they just saw. God had just transformed Born 2 Raze Hell being a ministry of doing skits and dramas to a theatrical preformance ministry. All lights, costume changes, prop handeling is done by just us three. The preformance is just one that you have to watch to really believe what goes on. It's hard to explain, so watch it and have God explain it to you. It is truely a miracle of God.
If you would like us to preform "Break These Chains" at your church, Please email us by going to the Contact Page. We are believeing that many doors are going to be opened for this ministry. We will travel all around Arkanas and all surrounding states. If it is God's will, we will even travel farther, where ever God wants us, so we shall be.
Christmas With A Capital C
This was just a little fun that we wanted to have during Christmas. This was actually a skit/dance. It talks about that we don't need to be concered about everything else at Christmas time, we just need to remember the real meaning, Jesus Christ. We don't need to say Happy Holidays, what holidays are we really happy about during that time. Boxing Day? I don't hear people talking about any other holidays besides Christmas, that's why it's called the Christmas Season. Call it what it is, Christmas. Richard played just a ordinary person who has had enough with everyone else trying to get around saying Christmas. Misty played a coffee shop owner and a store owner. Jeremy...well he had a fun part. He got to play Santa, and got to put his professional Santa suit to good use. The men in the unit was just laughing, along with us. It was a great way to have fun and worship God.
Wild, Wild West
B2RH just time traveled back into the 1800's. Where the gunslingers are the law. This was the first play to introduce the new members of the ministry, Jack "Spiritous" Miller, Darth "Voodoo" Maul, Dis "Under The Weather" Ease, and how could forget the talented Sam "Play It Again" Keys. The Gunslinger (Richard) walks into a saloon, but not any saloon, Mr. De' Vill's (Jeremy) Saloon. And he didn't come in to get a drink, he came in with a warrant and he's looking for Satan (Jeremy). Misty played the bartender. Satan has so many addictions that he puts on us, and too many times we let them take control of our life. We need to cast the demons of addictions out and say Satan, Bite The Dust!
